It All Comes Back to the Horse
If you’re anything like me, you know that horses have a way of shaping just about everything we do. Whether it’s planning a weekend trail ride, signing up for a local show, or finding an experienced farrier — everything seems to circle back to keeping our horses healthy, happy, and ready to ride.
Over the years, I found myself spending way too much time searching all over the internet for horse events, services, and local businesses. One site might have a few shows listed, another might have a directory of tack shops or boarding barns, but there wasn’t one place that pulled it all together. That’s when the idea for Mid Western Spirit was born.
What Mid Western Spirit Offers
Mid Western Spirit is being built as a one-stop shop for horsemen — a place where riders and horse owners can easily find what they need without the endless searching. From upcoming trail rides and horse shows to the small-town saddle maker or the trainer down the road, it’s all going to be right here in one place.
The site will feature an online directory where local businesses can claim and customize their listing to showcase what they offer. There will also be free event listings (because sharing what’s happening in our horse community shouldn’t cost a dime), plus premium options for those who want a little extra visibility.
Real People. Real Horses. Real Stories.
But what I’m most excited about are the stories. I’ll be interviewing the owners and experts behind these businesses — the craftsmen, trainers, and service providers who keep the horse world turning. Every one of them has their own story to tell, and I can’t wait to highlight the people who pour their hearts into this industry we love.
Mid Western Spirit is for all of us who live and breathe horses — for those who ride, compete, work, and dream alongside them.
Ride. Work. Live.
So saddle up and stay tuned. The full website is coming soon, and in the meantime, you can follow Mid Western Spirit on Facebook for event updates, sneak peeks, and news as we build this together.
Because at the end of the day, it’s about more than just finding what we need — it’s about keeping the spirit of the Midwest horse community alive and connected. It’s about how we Ride. Work. Live.
